Wes holds an Honors Degree in Law (LLB Hons.) from the University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia. Wes was a long-standing owner and partner of one of South-East Queensland’s Prestigious Legal Firms, Hickey Lawyers.

Wes is a vastly experienced, articulate, smart, dynamic, lawyer, Managing Director, developer, business owner, strategist, and entrepreneur, with a long and distinguished track record of significant achievement. As a lawyer, Wes has been, a legal representative, advisor and, confidant to many of Australia’s largest property owners, developers, business tycoons and, entrepreneurs. Wes has also been a Legal, Management and Business representative, to many of Asia’s renowned and successful companies and high net worth individuals who have pursued property, development and, business interests in Australia.

As a developer, Wes has an extensive and impressive track record of identifying, owning, and, developing high-profile, successful, award-winning, landmark, residential, and resort projects, in Queensland and New South Wales and, Residential Housing Estates in Queensland New South Wales and Victoria.

As a businessman and entrepreneur, Wes has established and managed the successful and impressive growth of startup businesses into becoming large business enterprises in Australia, India, Africa, and the USA, and other international locations.

Wes was an owner of the Five Star iconic Sheraton Mirage Resort and Hotel Gold Coast Queensland Australia, taking over the ownership of that business in 2009 and carefully and strategically managing the Hotel business and its refurbishment, to oversee, its value triple and its profitability increase by more than 800%, in less than 5 years.

Ben Zhang

Ben Zhang has had a distinguished career as a Chinese Australian true pioneer of international trade between Asia, and particularly China and Australia and the Pacific Region.

Originally from the Guangdong Province in China, Ben has been based in Australia for the last 25 Years.

Ben is renowned in the Australasia region as a mover and shaker and one of the most respected and successful suppliers of Asian Commodities to Australia and the Pacific and many of the largest businesses in the region. Ben has sourced and supplied a huge array of commodities but has had a major business sourcing and supplying extensively Timber, Glass, Steel, General Building Materials, Decorator Products, retail products, and Health Medical and PPE.

Ben's network across the major manufacturers and suppliers in China and Asia Generally is vast, with Ben having relationships directly with the Chairman, President, or Board of most major manufacturers and suppliers. Ben manages the China and Asia team who have all been working with Ben long term. Each member of Southlands China and Asia team is carefully selected as highly skilled leaders in their field and managed closely by Ben. This team delivers the best relationships, the highest quality products, hands-on and daily production and quality assurance management, customs, and logistics services.
